This page explains what swimmingpoolcalculator.online collects and why. The short version: the calculators collect nothing at all.

The calculators
Every calculation on this site runs inside your own browser. The measurements and test readings you type in are never transmitted to a server, never stored, and never logged. Close the tab and they are gone. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
What is collected
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used for security and troubleshooting and are retained for a limited period by the host.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies of its own. WordPress may set a cookie if you leave a comment or log in to the admin area. Caching and security systems used by the host may set functional cookies needed for the site to work.
Analytics and advertising
We plan to add Google Analytics and Google AdSense. When they are in place, this page will be updated to say exactly what they collect before they go live, and a cookie consent notice will be shown where the law requires one. Google’s own privacy policy covers the data it processes as an advertising provider.
If you write to us, we keep your message and address only to reply to you. It is not added to any mailing list and not shared with anyone.
What we never do
- Sell or rent personal information.
- Store the pool measurements or water test readings you enter.
- Ask for payment details — nothing on this site is for sale.
Children
This site is intended for adults looking after a swimming pool. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Since the calculators store nothing, in practice this usually concerns email correspondence. Write to hello@swimmingpoolcalculator.online and we will respond.
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that matters — particularly when analytics or advertising are switched on — the date at the top of this page will be updated.
