What to include
If you are reporting a problem with a calculator, the following makes it far quicker to look into:
- Which calculator, and the address of the page.
- The numbers you entered, and whether you were in US or metric units.
- The answer you got, and the answer you expected.
What we cannot help with
- Diagnosing a specific pool remotely. We have no way to see your water, and guessing would not be responsible.
- Recommending brands, products or contractors.
- Urgent problems. If anyone has become unwell after swimming, keep people out of the water and contact a pool professional or your doctor — not a website.
Found a mistake in a calculation? Please tell us. A wrong figure on this site could send someone to their pool with the wrong amount of a chemical, so corrections come before anything else.
